Demographic:
Previous Calendars released by Saanich and Victoria Firefighters have been very successful at reaching a wide variety of audiences. The high quality of photography and design has contributed to our calendars having universal appeal among most females and some males aged 16 and up. We have proven followings in Victoria City, and very consistent, strong sales throughout Saanich, (including the University of Victoria) the Western Communities, and the Saanich Peninsula. Our calendars have a reputation of being a 'fun' Christmas gift - and we have feedback indicating that our calendar is often becoming an annual gift giving ritual for some of our customers.

We are offering 4 major sponsorships for 2010. These sponsorships include:

Our Calendar Design Partner Media One Multimedia has provided the following specs for ad spaces. If a sponsor needs ad space designed - Media One will be happy to help at discounted charity rates.

MEDIAONE ACCEPTS THE FOLLOWING MAC OR PC FILES:

• EPS - No link files, all fonts converted to outlines and all transparencies flattened
• ILLUSTRATOR AI - No link files, all fonts converted to outlines and all transparencies flattened
• ILLUSTRATOR TRANSPARENCIES - Illustrator transparencies can create unintended screening and other problems that cannot be determined during our proofing process. Printing errors that occur due to the use of un-flattened transparencies will not be refunded.
• PHOTOSHOP PSD - All fonts must be rendered as a layer
• PDF Files
• TIFF - High resolution (300 dpi minimum)
• JPEG - High resolution (300 dpi minimum)

Media One does NOT accept the following file formats:

Colour and File Preparatation:

• FULL COLOUR PRINTING FILES MUST BE SENT IN CMYK
• RGB OR PANTONE colours will be converted to CMYK resulting in extreme colour changes.
• Re-prints or refunds will not be permitted for colour shifts caused by use of the wrong colour profile.
